The practice
AI agents accelerate research, implementation, refactoring, and testing. They do not own the architecture, accept the risk, or decide when the work is done. I do.
Find the business constraint and write down what “done” must prove before code starts multiplying.
Use agents deliberately across the work, with small scopes, explicit context, and visible tradeoffs.
Tests, review gates, security checks, and senior framework judgment determine what earns its way into production.

About the practice
I'm Jeremy Vaught. I've been writing software since the early '90s, professionally since 1998, PHP since 1999, and Laravel since version 4 beta. I've been a hands-on engineer, database architect, engineering leader, consultant, and CTO. Today I run Agency Intentional as a focused productized practice.
That structure is a feature. You work directly with the person shaping the engagement, making the architectural calls, reviewing the output, and remaining accountable for the result. I bring in specialists when the work calls for them—not layers of account management.
A useful boundary
If you need staff augmentation, hourly invoices, daily status meetings, a non-PHP team, or emergency production support, I'm probably not the right call.
